Parents work, kids play at Little Way.
Little Way began simply. Not as a business idea, but out of need.
A mom in transition was juggling part-time work, graduate school, and young kids at home. She needed a place to work that was convenient, affordable, and dependable. A place where she could focus without worrying about her kids. A place that felt safe as a parent.
At the time, it felt like searching for a unicorn.
But it turned out she was not the only one.
We kept seeing talented, capable people step away from work they loved after having kids. Not because they lost ambition. Not because they lost ability. They just could not find a practical way to keep going that worked for both their work and their children.
Little Way exists to change that.
It is not just childcare, and it is not just a coworking office. It is a place where parents can do real work, grow real businesses, and finish real degrees while their children are cared for in a space that honors the beauty of childhood.
We built the space we wished existed.
We are glad you found it.
The Components that Shape Little Way
Focused Work Blocks Parents of preschoolers rarely get a full workday. We do not try to give you one. Instead, we offer a consistent three-hour work block each week that is truly yours. Enough time to get into something meaningful and see it through. Enough time to feel like you actually worked.
Play is children’s work Play is how children make sense of the world. It is how they discover who they are, how they relate to others, and how they begin to understand belonging. At the Little Lab, we do not separate learning from play. For young children, they are the same thing. While you work, your children are guided through story-based play that leaves room for wonder, imagination, questions, and discovery.
Hospitality as care Working parenthood is a lot to carry. When you are here, we want you to feel that someone has thought ahead. The coffee is ready. The room is calm. The little details are handled. Our hope is simple. You leave having done good work and feeling, even just a little, like you got to breathe.
Service to our Community Little Way grew out of Christian faith, and it shapes the way we care for families. During the week, our coworking space is simply a place for parents to work while their children are cared for. Families from many backgrounds are part of the Little Way community. On Fridays and Saturdays, when coworking is closed, we occasionally host gatherings and programming that reflect our Christian roots. We also partner with churches to sponsor 2-3 free coworking passes a month, especially for mothers in their congregations or on staff. If your church would like to explore that, send us an email. We would love to connect.
